Chula Vista, CA – 54-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Intersection
Chula Vista, CA (February 14, 2019) – 54-year-old Raul Agundez was killed in a fatal accident that took place at the intersection of Broadway and F Street around 6:00 a.m. this morning.
At the time, police say that Agundez was riding his motorcycle northbound on Broadway through the F Street intersection. There was a green light at the time. A southbound sedan made a left turn in front of his motorcycle when he was riding on through. He was unable to stop in time, which caused the accident to occur.
Paramedics responded to the accident and attempted to revive Agundez but he died due to his severe injuries at the scene of the crash. Two people in the vehicle that struck him were injured but expected to recover.
The driver of the sedan cooperated with investigators.
