Carmichael, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident Takes One Life and Injures Another
Carmichael, CA (March 24, 2019) – A fatal pedestrian accident took place along Arden Way on Friday, at 9:30 a.m., killing one and leaving injuries in another.
The California Highway Patrol investigated, where they found that a 72-year-old woman was walking with her friend when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that struck them was identified as a 16-year-old girl who was headed westbound on the roadway when she struck the victims in the shoulder of the roadway.
Paramedics responded to find that both pedestrians received major injuries. One of the women died at the hospital.
The teenager stopped at the scene of the accident to cooperate with police in their investigation.
