California City, CA (July 18, 2019)- Dorothy Jean Boyd, age 71, has been identified as the woman that was killed in a devastating car accident. The accident occurred Wednesday, on California City Boulevard near Yerba Boulevard, at 1:30 p.m.
Reports claim that Dorothy Jean Boyd was driving a Toyota Camry when she was tragically struck by an SUV. Dorothy Jean Boyd, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries, while the driver of the second car was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The name of the other driver has yet to be released to the public. Whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision remains unknown at this time. Authorities are currently investigating the accident.
