Car Accidents in Southern California
We are saddened to hear of the tow truck driver’s death in this accident. Tow truck drivers have a dangerous job and place themselves in harm’s way each day when they report to work. Unfortunately, one risk is that they could be involved in a serious crash such as this one.
In this case, we will have to wait for the police report before negligence can be determined. If the big rig driver caused the crash, then the tow truck driver’s family will have a right to bring a wrongful death lawsuit against the trucker. A suit could also be potentially maintained against the trucker’s employer. In general, companies are responsible for the negligent acts of their employees while the employee is on duty.
