Berkeley Pedestrian Accident

We wish to extend our thoughts and prayers to the man who was struck and injured in this serious crash. We wish him a full recovery as he gets back on his feet.

In California, there are many rights and responsibilities that vehicle drivers and pedestrians share on the roadways. Drivers have a special duty of care to look out for all pedestrians who share our roads, as they are most vulnerable to serious accidents. When a pedestrian is walking in a crosswalk, California drivers must note that they must always slow down their vehicles and approach with caution.

If you have been injured in a serious pedestrian accident due to the negligence of another driver, there is a good chance that you will be able to bring a claim for damages. If serious injuries have resulted, as they do in many claims involving pedestrians, it is a good idea to speak with an attorney and never attempt to handle your case on your own, as these cases can become complicated when determining liability and how much a driver owes you to pay for your medical bills and more.

Evidence will be examined to try and prove fault in your case, such as determining if the party was intoxicated at the time, taking a closer look at skid marks, and more. From there, an attorney will be able to help you in your time of need as you receive compensation for your injuries. At the Los Angeles Injury Group, we wish to help in your time of need.
