Bellflower, CA – Bicyclist Killed After Collision With Truck
Bellflower, CA (August 14, 2018) – A Bellflower bicyclist died Monday in a collision with a truck. The bicyclist was riding near Somerset Boulevard and Woodruff Avenue when the accident took place around 2:40 pm. The deceased individual is a 27 year old man. No further identification is made pending notification of his next of kin.
The exact cause of this crash is not available at this time. Police have not identified the truck driver. There is no word on whether charges are forthcoming. Police continue to investigate this collision as of Tuesday morning.
Traffic experienced delays as some lanes of the roadway were closed while police were on the scene.
