Bass Lake, CA – Deadly Boat Accident Takes Life of Child
Bass Lake, CA (September 5, 2018) – A deadly boat accident took place on Bass Lake that led to the death of one child and injuries in another party. The accident happened on Monday, September 3. It occurred around 3 p.m. during Labor Day celebrations in the area.
7-year-old Lily Harris and 32-year-old Brandon Harris were on the lake at the time when they were suddenly run over by a boat. The boat was speeding through a slow zone at the time. The father and daughter duo were tubing when the accident took place.
First responders arrived at the scene and immediately administered CPR to Lily before she and her father were airlifted to different hospitals. At the Valley Children’s Hospital, Lily was allegedly pronounced deceased.
Brandon had surgery and is now recovering from his injuries.
