Bakersfield, CA – One Person Dead, Others Injured in Copus Road Crash
Bakersfield, CA (October 6, 2018) – In Bakersfield, one person died and several others were injured in a Copus Road crash that took place on Friday morning, October 5 around 6:28 a.m.
The collision took place between a red Honda Accord and a blue Cadillac Escalade in the early morning hours. Police said that, at the time, there were several boxes in the roadway and vehicles were swerving so that they could avoid a collision.
One person was found unconscious by the time police arrived and the coroner was soon called to the scene. Paramedics also transported several people to the hospital with major injuries. One person was so severely injured that they were airlifted.
Police are attempting to determine fault for the accident at this time.
