Pedestrian Accidents in California
California pedestrian accidents happen far too often on our roadways. Between the years 2007-2013, the California Department of Public Health has found that pedestrian accidents rose by an astounding 11%. These fatalities increase every year due to the number of drivers who engage in negligent acts that actually contribute to these accidents such as drunk driving, distractions, and speeding. These accidents can take place in the blink of an eye and because pedestrians are so vulnerable on our roads compared to other types of parties, they are more likely to take lives.
