Bakersfield, CA – One Man Killed and Two Injured in Fatal Accident on Casa Loma Dr.

Bakersfield, CA (January 21, 2019) – In Bakersfield, one man was killed and two others were injured in an accident that happened early Sunday along Casa Loma Drive. The accident took place around 4 a.m. on January 20, according to police.

The accident happened when 23-year-old Jonathan Galinod was involved in an accident, where his vehicle then went off the south side of the road. It then struck a power pole and cement wall.

Galinod and his 28-year-old passenger, Miguel Angel, were the only parties injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital. A backseat passenger identified as 22-year-old Jonathan Romo died at the scene of the accident.

The crash is still under investigation by police as they attempt to determine what caused it.
