Bakersfield, CA – Two-Vehicle Wreck w/Injuries on Main Drain Rd at Lerdo
Bakersfield, CA (September 6, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol Incident Page states that on Wednesday afternoon, September 6, at least two drivers were involved in an accident on Main Drain Road, north of Lerdo Highway.
One of the cars fell into a nearby canal as a result of the crash. The CHP reports that a black Toyota Camry and an unidentified SUV collided on the roadway shortly before, around 3:00 p.m.
Paramedics responded around that time, but it’s unclear how many people were hurt as a result of the incident.
An inquiry into the cause of the wreck is still ongoing, and no other details about the victims were released.
