Bakersfield, CA – Pedestrian Taken to Kern Med After Vehicle Wreck at Fairfax Rd & Edison Hwy
Bakersfield, CA (August 3, 2023) – According to troopers with the California Highway Patrol, a victim was injured in a hit-and-run collision on Thursday night, August 3.
The most recent CHP traffic report places the incident in southeast Bakersfield, close to the intersection of Fairfax Road and Edison Highway.
Per the CHP’s Traffic Update website, the driver hit a pedestrian around 9:30 p.m.
The victim was taken by Hall ambulance to Kern Medical, and fire authorities were working on clearing the site into the late evening. Authorities are conducting an ongoing crash investigation in the meantime.
