Bakersfield, CA – Deadly Motorcycle Accident on Ming Ave
Bakersfield, CA (August 30, 2023) – The Bakersfield Police Department reports that a woman was killed Wednesday afternoon after a motorcycle and SUV collided on Ming Avenue.
At about 11:30 a.m., police were called to the 5500 block of Ming Avenue for a complaint of a collision between a motorcyclist and an SUV.
Per the BPD, upon arrival, police saw a female biker lying in the street with severe injuries. Officers added that the SUV driver remained at the site and gave their full cooperation throughout the inquiry.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital, where she was later confirmed dead from her injuries.
No additional details were provided, though an investigation is still ongoing.
