Atascadero, CA – Two Pedestrians Injured on Highway 41
Atascadero, CA (August 28, 2018) – In Atascadero, an accident left two pedestrians injured on Highway 41. Police have identified the two that received serious injuries in the accident.
Police were called to the scene on Saturday at Santa Ysabel Avenue to find that two pedestrians, a wife and husband, were struck in a horrific pedestrian accident. They were identified as Mary Glick and her husband, Andrew Glick. The pair was walking across the street when they were suddenly struck. The Glicks received broken legs, brain bleeding, and a variety of cuts due to the incident.
Both were taken to the Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo. Mary and her husband were both wearing immobilizers following the incident and have to receive daily speech and physical therapy because of the extent of their injuries.
The incident is still being investigated.
