Artesia, CA – Two-Car Collision Involving LASD Deputy at 183rd St & Pioneer Blvd Sends Victim to Hospital
Artesia, CA (August 9, 2023) – On Wednesday, a deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was involved in a two-car collision in Artesia that sent at least one person to the hospital.
The incident occurred at the crossroads of 183rd Street and Pioneer Boulevard at around 10:00 a.m. Local news footage showed a collision between two vehicles, one of which was the deputy’s SUV.
The incident apparently caused the deputy’s cruiser to be partially pinned between a utility pole and a building.
Though no additional details were provided, LAPD officers are overseeing the ongoing investigation.
