Arcadia, CA – Dump Truck Wreck Causes Injuries at Anita Ave & Huntington Dr
Arcadia, CA (August 23, 2023) – Multiple vehicles, including a dump truck carrying dirt and concrete, were involved in an incident at an Arcadia crossroads, forcing traffic closures while an investigation took place.
The collision, involving a truck and two other cars, occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of Santa Anita Avenue and East Huntington Drive.
The truck overturned after colliding with a fire hydrant, scattering gravel and shards of concrete over the street and causing a secondary accident.
Arcadia Fire Department personnel assisted the driver in escaping the vehicle while EMTs transported the victims to the hospital.
Roads in the region were closed as authorities worked to determine what caused the collision.
