Apple Valley Scooter Accident
Scooter accidents are much like other accidents on our roadways where riders have few protections such as motorcycle and bicycle accidents. This is why there is a high likelihood of serious injuries and fatalities in these accidents, as a rider has no protection from what could occur.
We wish to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kimsan Mao, whose life was taken too soon in this horrific accident.
Authorities will be looking at the details of this crash to determine who was liable based on a variety of factors. They might look at the other driver and determine if he was following right-of-way rules, speeding at the time, under the influence, and a variety of other factors. The investigation will consist of looking at where both vehicles were at the point of impact, final resting positions, and more. From there, police will be able to make up a police report based on this information, which can play an integral role in a family receiving compensation.
