Apple Valley, CA – Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 18
Apple Valley, CA (September 17, 2018) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 18. The accident happened on Sunday, September 16, according to police who responded.
The multi-vehicle accident involving a 2006 Chevy van, a 2009 Honda Civic, and a 2013 Toyota Corolla. Allegedly, the driver of the Chevy didn’t notice that traffic attempted to stop at the last minute. This caused the driver to swerve to the left, which caused it to lose control and start sliding sideways on the road. This is when the rear passenger side collided with the rear of the Honda. The Honda was pushed into the Toyota.
Paramedics came and found that the driver of the Chevy was injured. He apparently had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the Honda also had neck pain due to the accident and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The occupants in the Toyota did not have injuries.
