Anaheim, CA (August 7, 2023) – A motorcycle collision in Anaheim on Monday claimed the life of an off-duty Garden Grove police officer, per reports from the Garden Grove Police Department.

The collision occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on Euclid Street, close to the intersection with Glenoaks Avenue. A vehicle collided with the officer’s motorcycle, resulting in his ejection from the bike.

Authorities say the officer was taken to the hospital but ultimately passed away from his injuries upon arrival.
