Alamo, CA – 82-Year-Old Killed in Serious, Fatal Car Accident
Alamo, CA (October 14, 2018)- On Thursday, October 11, one man was killed in a fatal car accident that took place in Alamo on Danville Boulevard, according to police. The man has since been identified as 82-year-old Stanley Mehlhoff of Alamo.
At the time, he had been driving his Volkswagen Beetle on Danville Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. He approached the 200 block of Danville where the vehicle suddenly veered off the roadway and went down into a ditch.
First responders came to the scene and found that Mehlhoff was caught in the wreckage of the accident. Paramedics immediately started trying to free him. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
