Agua Dulce, CA – Deadly Wrong-Way Driver Crash Also Causes Injuries
Agua Dulce, CA (October 1, 2018) – A deadly wrong-way driver crash took place that led to serious injuries in two people as well. The accident happened on Sunday, September 30.
Police responded to the accident to find that a man, 51-year-old Phillip Ellyson, and a teen girl were seriously injured in the wrong-way collision on the 14 Freeway. The girl was identified as a 17-year-old.
Ellyson had been driving a Toyota pickup truck north when his vehicle was suddenly struck by a 2007 Lexus sedan. The Lexus was driven by 28-year-old George Bravo and traveling south in the northbound lanes at the time when the Los Angeles man struck it.
Ellyson suffered major, life-threatening injuries and his passenger suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Bravo died at the scene of the accident.
